Ingredients

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 10-15 drops essential oils (your choice of scent) Adjust to your scent preference

  • 1 silicone molds or cookie cutters To shape the fresheners

Instructions
 

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda and cornstarch.
  • Slowly pour in white vinegar, stirring continuously to avoid clumps.
  • Add in 10-15 drops of essential oils, adjusting to your scent preference.

Forming Clay

  • Stir the mixture until it forms a smooth dough.
  • If the dough is too sticky, add a little more baking soda. If it’s too dry, add a few drops of water.

Shaping the Fresheners

  • Roll the dough into small balls or flatten it if you prefer shapes.
  • Use silicone molds or cookie cutters to create different designs. Press the dough firmly into the molds.

Drying the Fresheners

  • Place your shaped fresheners on a baking sheet.
  • Allow them to air dry for 24-48 hours until completely hard.
  • For quicker drying, you can bake them at a low temperature (around 175°F) for 1-2 hours.

Notes

Customize scents by mixing different essential oils. Add color to your fresheners with food coloring or natural coloring agents. Experiment with different molds for variety.
