Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Clear a flat surface and gather all materials.
  • Ensure the area is well-ventilated, especially when working with essential oils.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of baking soda.
  • Slowly pour in 1/3 cup of white vinegar and watch it fizz. Stir continuously until a thick paste forms.

Add Scents and Colors

  • Add 1 tsp of your chosen essential oils for scent.
  • If desired, incorporate a few drops of food coloring to achieve your desired hue.

Molding

  • Spoon the mixture into the heart-shaped silicone mold.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the molds to ensure they hold their shape.

Drying

  • Allow the hearts to dry for at least 24 hours or until they harden completely.
  • Optionally, place them on a baking tray in a low-temperature oven to speed up the drying process.

Finishing

  • Once fully dried, carefully remove the hearts from the mold and display them as desired.

Notes

Tips include adjusting scent strength, trying color combinations for visual appeal, and adding dried herbs for enhanced scent. Great for gifts or special occasions.
