  • 1 brush Paintbrush For applying the varnish
  • 1 cup Fine sand To create the sandy seafloor base
  • 1 container Bowl or container for mixing For mixing sand and varnish
  • 1 piece Small sponge or cloth For cleanup

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by laying out your foam board in a clean workspace.
  • Feel the smooth texture of the foam; it will hold your design securely.

Creating the Sandy Seafloor

  • In a bowl, mix sand with a little craft varnish.
  • Spread this mixture on your foam board to create a textured base.
  • Apply enough to give an authentic sandy look.

Assembling the Sea Glass

  • Arrange your sea glass pieces in a wave pattern, starting from the base and moving upwards.
  • Mix the greens and blues to capture the essence of waves.

Securing the Glass

  • Using your hot glue gun, carefully attach each piece of sea glass.
  • Hold each piece for a few seconds until it sets to maintain placement.

Finishing the Artwork

  • Once all glass is glued down, apply a coat of clear craft varnish over the entire piece.
  • Notice how the varnish highlights the colors and provides a glossy finish.

Notes

Customize colors and textures to your liking. Consider using real sea glass for added charm and using a waterproof sealant for outdoor display.
