Preparation

  • Start by ensuring your bottle is clean and dry. Remove any labels if necessary.

  • Using a funnel, pour the colored water into the bottle, filling it about two-thirds full.

Add the Sand

  • Carefully add a layer of sand or gravel to the bottom to simulate the seafloor. Use a small spoon or stick to help position it if needed.

Decorate Your Underwater Scene

  • Gently place seashells, pebbles, and any other decorative elements you’d like to include, such as plastic sea creatures.
  • If desired, sprinkle in some glitter to add sparkle and mimic sunlight reflecting on the water.

Final Touches

  • Secure the lid tightly to prevent any leaks.

Notes

Color Adjustments: Experiment with different shades of blue or even add green for a unique oceanic vibe. Use different materials like plastic coral, or pebbles to create diversity in the sea. Tailor the contents to reflect different seasons using holiday-themed decorations.
