Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 cup sea salt (coarse)
  • 1-2 tablespoons nail polish (various colors)
  • essential oils (optional, for added scent)
  • small bowls or containers
  • plastic wrap or parchment paper For protecting surfaces

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Clear a clean area to work in.
  • Lay down plastic wrap or parchment paper to protect surfaces.

Mixing

  • Measure out 1 cup of sea salt into a small bowl.
  • Add 1-2 tablespoons of nail polish to the salt.
  • Stir well until the salt is coated and the colors are evenly distributed.

Creating Crystals

  • Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet, forming an even layer.
  • Leave it to dry in a well-ventilated area for 24 hours.

Observing the Transformation

  • Check the crystals every few hours; they will begin to harden.
  • After 24 hours, gently break apart any clumps and allow to dry further if needed.

Storing or Displaying

  • Once completely dry, store in glass jars or display them creatively.

Notes

You can blend different colors to create unique shades, and consider adding essential oils for fragrance. Use fine salt for a more delicate look if desired, or a larger surface for bigger crystals.
