Preparation

  • Take your clean glass jar and ensure it is free from any residues.
  • If using a funnel, place it in the jar’s opening to simplify pouring.

Create Your Ocean Base

  • Fill the jar with water, leaving about 1 inch of space at the top.
  • Add blue food coloring, starting with a few drops and mix well to achieve your desired ocean color.

Add Glitter

  • Sprinkle in glitter to mimic the sparkle of ocean waves, using as much as you like for a magical effect.

Layering with Oil

  • Carefully pour baby oil or vegetable oil slowly into the jar, creating a distinct layer on top of the water.

Incorporate Ocean Elements

  • Optional: Gently add small sea creatures or shells, placing them in the water layer to sink or letting them float near the top.

Seal and Enjoy

  • Screw on the lid tightly.
  • Swirl and observe the beautiful movement of colors and glitter by turning the jar upside down and back.
