  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (like honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar)

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional) For extra flavor
  • 1 set silicone gummy molds For shaping the gummies

Preparation

  • If using agar-agar, dissolve it in a separate bowl as instructed on the package.

Cooking

  • Gently heat it on low-medium heat until it begins to warm. Avoid boiling.
  • Stir continuously until completely dissolved. This may take a couple of minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and add your sweetener and melatonin, stirring until fully incorporated.
  • Carefully pour the mixture into the silicone molds. Use a dropper for precision if necessary to avoid spills.
  • Place the molds in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours or until set completely.

Serving

  • Gently pop the gummies out of the molds and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

You can experiment with different fruit juices, add lavender oil for extra calming effect, and adjust sweetness to your liking.
