Preparation

  • Gather all the materials needed for your snow foam sensory play.
  • In a mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of shaving cream.
  • Add 1 cup of cornstarch.
  • Using a spoon or spatula, mix the materials together until you achieve a fluffy, snow-like consistency.
  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring or a sprinkle of glitter to make your snow foam more visually interesting.
  • Allow the kids to play with the snow foam using their hands, scoops, or molds.

Notes

Store any unused snow foam in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to a few days. Supervise young children as the snow foam is not edible.
