Preparation

  • Clear a flat surface and place the tray or baking sheet down to catch any spills.
  • Gather all materials within reach for a smooth crafting experience.

Make the Snow Base

  • In your small plastic container, add 1 cup of baking soda.
  • Fluff up the baking soda to resemble snow.

Create the Volcanic Eruption

  • In a separate cup, mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar with desired food coloring and optional essential oils.
  • Slowly pour the vinegar mixture into the baking soda container.
  • Observe the fizzing and bubbling reaction resembling a volcanic eruption!

Notes
