  • 2 cups Blue or black dry rice or beans For a galaxy effect

Celestial Decorations

  • 1 package Star-shaped confetti or foam shapes
  • 5 miniature Plastic planets or painted rocks Alternatively, use painted rocks
  • 1 bag Glow-in-the-dark stars
  • 1 cup Silver glitter or sequins To sprinkle throughout the bin

  • 2 small cups Small cups or scoops for pouring

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pour blue or black dry rice/beans into your plastic bin, filling it about halfway.
  • Scatter star-shaped confetti or foam shapes and glow-in-the-dark stars throughout the bin.
  • Place miniature planets or painted rocks in different sections.
  • Add a handful of silver glitter or sequins to represent stardust.
  • Add small cups or scoops to allow children to scoop and pour.
  • Introduce plastic astronaut figures or space-themed toys and encourage imaginative stories.

Notes

Customize colors using food coloring on dry rice to represent different celestial themes. Incorporate natural elements like pine cones for a tactile experience.
