  • In a saucepan, combine one cup of cornstarch, four cups of water, and one tablespoon of glycerin. Stir gently over low heat until it thickens smoothly.
  • Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool slightly. Incorporate food coloring and stir until it achieves a vibrant hue.
  • If desired, sprinkle in glitter or other natural embellishments for personalization.
  • Pour the mixture onto your prepared surface, spreading it out to the desired thickness. Use cookie cutters or templates to create shapes.
  • Allow your creations to dry for 24 hours.

Finalization

  • Gently peel your suncatchers off the surface once they are fully dry.
  • Trim any uneven edges if necessary and punch a hole for hanging, if desired.

Display

  • Find sunny spots on windowsills to showcase your crafted suncatchers.
