Sparkling Rainbow Bubble Slime
A fun and engaging craft project that results in colorful and sparkly bubble slime, perfect for sensory play and creativity.
Ingredients
Base Ingredients
- 1 cup Clear glue
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 2 tablespoons Contact lens solution
- optional Shaving cream For added fluffiness
Coloring and Sparkling Ingredients
- various Food coloring Use multiple colors for a vibrant effect.
- optional Glitter For extra sparkles.
Tools Needed
- 1 Mixing bowl
- 1 Spoon or spatula
Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of clear glue.
- Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and mix thoroughly.
- If you want a fluffier texture, add in a few tablespoons of shaving cream and stir until well blended.
Activation
- Slowly add 2 tablespoons of contact lens solution to the mixture.
- Stir continuously until the slime begins to form and pulls away from the bowl.
Coloring
- Split the slime into several portions, depending on how many colors you want.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to each portion and knead until the colors are evenly mixed.
Sparkling Addition
- If desired, sprinkle some glitter into each colored slime and knead to incorporate.
Assembly
- Begin layering the different colored slimes on top of each other in a clear container to create a beautiful rainbow effect.
- For an exciting twist, add a small amount of additional clear slime on top of the layered slime for an extra bubbly surprise.
Notes
Customize the colors, add scents with essential oils, or even incorporate glow-in-the-dark powder. Store the slime in an airtight container to prevent drying out.
