Instructions
Preparation
- Find a clean, well-lit area to work in.
- Lay down a cover (like newspaper or a craft mat) to catch any spills.
Cleaning Seashells
- Rinse your seashells under warm water to remove any debris.
- Pat them dry with a soft cloth.
Applying Glue
- Choose a shell and use a paintbrush or sponge applicator to spread craft glue over the surface.
- Ensure an even layer for maximum glitter adherence.
Adding Glitter
- Dip the glued shell into a bowl or tray filled with glitter, covering all glued areas.
- Gently tap off any excess glitter.
Optional Embellishments
- While the glue is still wet, sprinkle on sequins or place beads for a more intricate design.
Drying
- Allow the decorated seashells to dry completely; this usually takes about 1-2 hours.
Sealing (Optional)
- If desired, spray a clear acrylic sealer on the dried shells to protect the design and enhance shine.
Notes
