  • 1/3 cup Clear corn syrup or glycerin This serves as the thick base for the sensory effects.

  • as needed Glitter (preferably fine or star-shaped) The more glitter, the more sparkly the bottle will be!

  • 1 Funnel Helpful for pouring ingredients into the bottle.

Preparation

  • Start with a clean, dry plastic bottle. Make sure it is large enough to allow your sensory effects to be visible.
  • Use the funnel to pour in about 1/3 cup of clear corn syrup or glycerin.
  • Fill the bottle almost to the top with water, leaving a little space to avoid overflow.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring and mix gently with a toothpick or small stick if needed.
  • Add glitter and any small star shapes you desire.
  • Securely close the lid on your bottle to prevent spills and shake gently to see your fireworks come to life!
