Materials for Spiral Suncatcher

  • 1 sheet Clear plastic or transparency sheets
  • 1 set Permanent markers or paint
  • 1 pair Scissors
  • 1 length String or fishing line
  • 1 each Hole puncher Optional for creating a hanging hole.
  • 1 each Ruler
  • 1 each Pencil
  • to taste Glitter or sequins Optional for added sparkle.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your materials on a clean, flat surface.
  • Use a ruler to draw a spiral on the transparency sheet, starting at a center point and spiraling outwards.

Cutting and Decorating

  • Carefully cut along the spiral line using scissors to create your spiral shape.
  • Use permanent markers or paint to decorate your spiral with vibrant colors, blending for a gradient effect.
  • If desired, add glitter or sequins to the wet paint for extra sparkle.

Assembly

  • Use the hole puncher to create a hole at the top of the spiral.
  • Cut a length of string or fishing line, thread it through the hole, and secure it with a knot.
  • Hang your suncatcher in a sunny window or outdoor space to catch the light.

Notes
