Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, blend together 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, and 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar. Stir until evenly mixed.

Combine Wet Ingredients

  • In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of water with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add a few drops of your chosen essential oil for scent and incorporate food coloring if desired.

Cook the Mixture

  • Gradually add the dry mixture into the saucepan, stirring continuously over medium heat until the dough begins to form and pull away from the sides of the pan.

Knead the Dough

  • Once the dough has cooled enough to handle, transfer it to a clean surface. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and pliable.

  • Shape the dough into balls or store it flat in airtight containers. Allow it to cool completely before sealing.
