Stained Glass Cellophane Pumpkin

- 3 sheets Orange, green, and yellow cellophane sheets Choose vibrant colors for a striking effect.
- 1 sheet Black construction paper Ideal for the pumpkin base.
- 1 pair Scissors For cutting shapes.
- 1 stick Glue stick or craft glue For adhering cellophane to the base.
- 1 item Pencil For tracing.
- 1 bowl A small bowl For tracing a round shape.
- 1 roll Clear tape For attaching the hanger.
- 1 piece String or ribbon For hanging the pumpkin.
Instructions
Preparation
- Trace the pumpkin shape using a bowl as a template, drawing a circle on the black construction paper.
- Add a rectangle at the top for the pumpkin stem.
- Cut out the pumpkin shape carefully using scissors.
Prepare the Cellophane
- Cut the orange, green, and yellow cellophane into smaller squares or triangles, approximately 2 inches each.
Glue the Cellophane
- Generously spread glue over the entire cut-out pumpkin shape.
- Start attaching the orange pieces, overlapping them slightly for full coverage.
- Add green pieces for leaves and yellow for accents as desired.
Assemble the Pumpkin
- Glue the rectangular piece at the top of the pumpkin as the stem.
- Attach a piece of string or ribbon at the top using clear tape if you want to display your pumpkin.
Display Your Creation
- Hang the pumpkin in a window or place it in a well-lit area to enjoy the colorful display.
