  • 1 piece Black marker or paint For outlining your design

Instructions

Preparation

  • Clear a flat surface and lay down newspaper or a protective layer.
  • Gather all materials for easy access.

Design Creation

  • Sketch a simple design on paper to use as a guide.
  • Use a black marker to outline your design on the plastic/glass sheet.

Cutting

  • Cut tissue paper or transparent film into various shapes and sizes for your design.
  • Focus on textured patterns or color gradients for a striking effect.

Glue Application

  • Using a paintbrush, apply a thin layer of stained glass glue over the outlined sections of your design.
  • Work in small areas to prevent the glue from drying out too quickly.

Placing Tissue Paper

  • Carefully place your cut tissue paper pieces over the glued sections.
  • Press down gently to ensure they adhere well, overlapping pieces slightly for a blended look.

Sealing Up

  • Once all pieces are in place, apply a final layer of glue over the entire design.
  • Allow it to dry completely (follow glue instructions for drying time).

Displaying Artwork

  • Once dry, you can frame your piece or attach hardware to hang it.
  • Find a sunny spot where it can shine and enhance your decor!

Notes

Experiment with different materials like lace or cellophane for unique textures. Layer colors and paper types for a more dynamic effect. Use a heat gun to quickly dry glue (wear protective gear and follow safety precautions). Consider making smaller pieces to create a decorative window collage.
