  • 1 piece Hole punch To create a hole for hanging.
  • 1 length String or fishing line For hanging the suncatcher.
  • 1 tube Adhesive If using tissue paper for securing pieces.

Preparation

  • Find a clean, flat surface to work on.
  • Gather all your materials to keep everything within reach.

Create Your Design

  • If using plastic sheets, lay one flat.
  • For a layered look, cut tissue paper into small squares or fun shapes.
  • Use colored markers to draw designs directly onto the plastic sheet.

Assemble Layers

  • If using tissue paper, layer different colors and shapes on the plastic.
  • Use adhesive to secure the pieces to the plastic sheet.

Add a Border (Optional)

  • Cut the construction paper into a frame shape and attach it around the suncatcher for a more finished look.

Punch a Hole

  • Use the hole punch to create a hole at the top of the suncatcher for hanging.

Add String

  • Thread the string or fishing line through the hole and knot it securely.

Hang Your Suncatcher

  • Find a sunny window and hang your suncatcher to see the colorful patterns come alive!
