  • 1 piece Hot glue gun and glue sticks For assembling the suncatcher.
  • 1 spool Colorful ribbons or strings For hanging the suncatcher.
  • 1 optional Clear fishing line For hanging if preferred.
  • 1 set Acrylic paint or permanent markers For adding color to the CDs.
  • 1 optional Glitter For additional sparkle.
  • 1 piece Paintbrush If using paint.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by cleaning the CDs with a damp cloth to remove any dust or fingerprints. Ensure they’re dry before proceeding.

Cutting

  • Using scissors, carefully cut the CDs into desired shapes like triangles, circles, or abstract designs. Be cautious of sharp edges.

Coloring

  • Use acrylic paint or permanent markers to embellish the pieces, letting them dry completely for a striking appearance.

Glittering

  • Apply glue to select areas and sprinkle glitter over them. Shake off any excess and let it dry.

Assembly

  • Arrange cut pieces in a desired pattern and use the hot glue gun to attach them securely.

Hanging

  • Attach colorful ribbons or strings to the top of the suncatcher. If using fishing line, tie a knot and secure it to the top piece.

Display

  • Find a sunny window to hang your new suncatcher and enjoy the beautiful light reflections.

Notes

Consider using different materials for added texture and customizing the suncatcher for seasonal themes. You can also create a mobile by hanging multiple pieces together.
