Mixing Ingredients

  • Begin by pouring the warm water into the mixing bowl.
  • Next, add the white school glue to the warm water and stir gently until they combine smoothly.
  • If you wish to add color, squeeze a few drops of food coloring into the mixture.
  • Slowly pour in the liquid laundry detergent, stirring continuously as the mixture begins to thicken.
  • Continue mixing until the mixture pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
  • Use your hands to knead the material right in the bowl until it feels slightly sticky.
  • Shape the kneaded mixture into a ball, rolling it between your hands.
  • Set the ball aside to rest for a moment to enhance its bounciness.

Playing with the Bouncy Ball

  • Take your new creation outdoors or onto a soft surface and enjoy bouncing it.

Notes

Store your bouncy ball in a cool, dry spot when not in use, away from direct sunlight. If it starts to lose its shape, gently reshape it by rolling it between your hands. Feel free to revisit this project for new bouncy balls with different colors or textures.
