Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the cardstock into desired shapes—rectangles or fun designs like butterflies or flowers.
  • Aim for at least a 5x10 inch size for effective trapping.

Creating the Sticky Surface

  • Apply a generous layer of double-sided tape across the cardstock, leaving no gaps.
  • Alternatively, smear a thin layer of sugar or honey on top of the tape for extra attraction.

Decoration

  • Use markers or paints to add cheerful designs or text to your traps.
  • Ensure your decorations are non-toxic and safe for indoor use.

Setting Up Your Traps

  • Hang or place the traps in fly-prone areas, such as near fruits, windows, or garbage bins.
  • Observe as flies are drawn to the colorful traps and get stuck!

Notes

Experiment with different colors and shapes, and consider incorporating essential oils for better attraction. Keep traps out of reach of pets to prevent any hazards.
