Surf Wax Sea-Salt Slime

Ingredients
Base Ingredients
- 1 cup white school glue
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon corn starch Optional
Color and Scent (optional)
- as desired food coloring Optional
- as desired essential oils Optional for scent
Activator
- 1 cup liquid laundry detergent or saline solution
Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 cup of warm water. Stir well until fully combined, creating a smooth mixture.
- Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 tablespoon of sea salt, and 1 tablespoon of corn starch. Mix thoroughly to incorporate all the dry ingredients. You will notice the mixture beginning to thicken.
- If you’d like to add color, now is the time! Choose your food coloring and mix it into the slime until you achieve your desired shade. For a beachy aroma, add a few drops of your chosen essential oil.
Activation
- Gradually add in 1 cup of liquid laundry detergent or saline solution. Stir continuously; the mixture will begin to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
Kneading
- Once it forms a slime, take it out and knead it with your hands. The texture should be stretchy yet slightly gritty, reminiscent of surf wax.
Notes
Customize colors, scents, and texture to create your unique slime. Store slime in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
