  • 1 bottle Food coloring or liquid watercolor Vibrant and friendly to use
  • 3 small cups Small cups or containers for mixing the dyes Used to bring your colorful vision to life
  • 1 bottle Spray bottle filled with water For a gentle mist of color
  • 1 pair Plastic gloves Optional, to keep hands clean
  • 5 sheets Paper towels To soak up excess dye
  • 1 cover Protective covering for the workspace To ensure a stress-free clean-up

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lay down a plastic covering to protect surfaces and create an inviting crafting corner.
  • Place white coffee filters flat on the table, experimenting with different shapes.
  • In small cups, mix different drops of food coloring or liquid watercolor with a little water.

Creating Art

  • Using a dropper, carefully add color to the coffee filters and let them soak.
  • Fill a spray bottle with colored water, hold it at a distance, and mist the coffee filters lightly.
  • Gently twist and turn the filters to encourage more blending.
  • Once done, place the filters on paper towels to dry.

Display

  • Display dried coffee filters as garlands or hang them in windows.
  • Use them as colorful cards to brighten someone’s day.

Notes

Store creations flat in a folder or hang them in a craft corner. Consider reusing the filters for new colors or designs. Encourage exploration in patterns and layering techniques.
