Slime Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup shaving cream
  • ½ cup white school glue
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • ½ cup contact lens solution
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Glitter (optional)

Instructions

Mix the Base

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of shaving cream with ½ cup of white school glue.
  • Stir the mixture gently until it’s fully blended. The texture should be light and foamy.

Activate the Slime

  • Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the glue and shaving cream mixture.
  • Stir well until combined; this will help thicken the slime.

Add Color & Shine

  • If desired, mix in a few drops of food coloring and glitter for fun effects.
  • Be sure to mix until the color is even throughout.

Bring It All Together

  • Slowly add ½ cup of contact lens solution and stir continuously.
  • Keep mixing until the slime starts to come together and pull away from the bowl.

Knead the Slime

  • Transfer the slime to a clean surface and knead it with your hands.
  • This will help improve its stretchy and fluffy texture.

Notes

Use the slime for stress relief by squeezing and stretching it. Invite friends over for a slime-making party to share ideas and textures.
