Preparation

  • Lay down newspaper or a plastic tablecloth to protect surfaces.
  • Gather all materials for easy access.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of warm water.
  • Stir the mixture until well-blended.
  • Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of baking soda into the glue and water mixture.
  • Stir well to ensure that the baking soda is fully dissolved.
  • Gently fold in 2 cups of shaving cream to the mixture.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring to the bowl and adjust until you achieve your desired ocean hue.

Activating

  • Slowly mix in 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution.
  • Stir until the slime begins to pull away from the bowl and forms into a cohesive blob.

Final Touch

  • Transfer the slime onto a clean surface and knead it with your hands.
  • For an extra ocean touch, add glitter, tiny sea creatures, or beads and knead carefully to distribute them evenly.

Notes

For a thicker slime, reduce the amount of shaving cream. Store the slime in an airtight container or resealable bag to prolong its lifespan. Experiment with scents or various types of glue to create different slime variations.
