  • 1 cup Distilled water Recommended to prevent cloudiness
  • 1 tablespoon Glitter Preferably blue or green for an ocean effect
  • 1 package Small plastic sea creatures Like fish, turtles, or starfish
  • 1 teaspoon Glycerin (optional) For slowing down the glitter
  • 1 gun Hot glue gun and glue sticks For securing decorations
  • 2 drops Food coloring (optional) For tinted water
  • 1 set Small decorative items E.g., tiny shells, beads

Instructions

Preparation

  • Clean and dry your container thoroughly.
  • Ensure the lid fits securely to avoid leaks.

Assembly

  • Choose the sea creatures and decorative items you want inside your globe.
  • Use a hot glue gun to attach them to the inside of the lid and let it dry completely.
  • Pour distilled water into the container, leaving a little space at the top.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring (if using) for a tinted effect.

Finishing Touches

  • Pour in your glitter to create a magical underwater effect.
  • If using glycerin, add a few teaspoons to slow down the glitter's descent.
  • Carefully screw the lid onto the container, ensuring a tight seal.
  • Flip the globe over and give it a gentle shake to see the snow effect!

Notes

Customize with different colors of glitter or use sequins. Consider using resin figures or natural items like tiny shells instead of plastic creatures. Large globes make a stunning statement!
