  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar Slowly added to baking soda mixture.
  • 1 spoon A spoon (for stirring)
  • Optional Glitter or sparkles For added magical effect.

Preparation

  • Fill your jar about halfway with water. Leave some space at the top for the oil and other ingredients.
  • Pour vegetable oil gently on top of the water. Observe how it floats and forms a distinct layer.
  • In a separate small bowl, mix baking soda with a few drops of food coloring.
  • Slowly add a small amount of vinegar to this mixture; watch as vibrant bubbles and fizz rise!
  • Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the fizzing colored mixture into the jar. Enjoy the stunning and slow fireworks effect.
  • For an extra magical touch, sprinkle in some glitter or sparkles and observe.
