  • 1 unit Heart-shaped cookie cutter or silicone molds For shaping the suncatchers.
  • to taste Food coloring or acrylic paint (optional) To add color to your glue mixture.
  • 1 sheet Wax paper or plastic sheet To protect your workspace.
  • 1 pair Scissors For cutting materials if needed.
  • 1 unit Paintbrush (optional) To help with pouring glue.
  • to taste Glitter (optional) For adding sparkle.
  • 1 unit String or fishing line For hanging the suncatchers.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lay down wax paper or a plastic sheet to protect your work area.
  • Gather all materials within reach for a smooth crafting experience.

Mixing Glue

  • In a bowl, pour out your clear glue.
  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring or acrylic paint to create a colored mixture. Adjust to your liking.

Creating Shapes

  • Lay a heart-shaped cookie cutter or silicone mold on the wax paper.
  • Use a paintbrush or pour the glue mixture inside the mold to fill it halfway.

Adding Glitter

  • Sprinkle glitter on top of the wet glue for added sparkle and magic.

Drying

  • Allow the glue to dry completely, which may take several hours or overnight.

Finishing Touches

  • Once fully dry, gently peel the suncatchers off the wax paper.
  • Use string or fishing line to hang them in your window or anywhere you’d like to see the light shine through.

Notes

Experiment with different colors by layering glue mixtures. Consider adding small items like sequins or beads to the glue for texture. Change colors or shapes for other holidays or occasions.
