Instructions

Preparation

  • Start with your empty water bottle. Remove the label, and take a moment to appreciate its smoothness.
  • Use your craft funnel to fill the bottle halfway with water. Feel the cool, soft liquid as it flows.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring or liquid watercolors to the water. Swirl the bottle gently to see the colors merge and dance.
  • Sprinkle in some glitter, beads, or sequins. Notice how they shimmer, catching the light as they settle.
  • Top off the bottle with more water, leaving a little space at the top to allow the materials to create beautiful motion.
  • Secure the lid tightly. If using a hot glue gun, add a small bead of glue around the rim before sealing the cap.
  • Gently turn the bottle upside down or shake it to watch your water fireworks come to life.
  • Find a cozy spot to let your creation rest and appreciate its beauty as it glimmers under the light.

Notes

To keep your Water Bottle Fireworks in good condition, store it away from direct sunlight for long periods. You can refresh it by adding new colors or glitter. For reuse, empty and rinse the bottle before starting again.
