Instructions
Preparation
- Lay down newspaper or a disposable tablecloth to protect surfaces.
- Gather all your materials within arm’s reach.
Crafting
- Pour moderately warm water into the shallow container.
- Drip the acrylic paint onto the water’s surface, allowing it to spread.
- Use a wooden stick or skewer to gently mix the colors in the water.
- Immerse the ornament slowly into the water, rolling it gently to coat all sides.
- Carefully lift the ornament out of the water and place it on a drying rack.
- Let the ornaments cure for at least 24 hours before adding decorations.
Notes
Experiment with color combinations and different ornament shapes. Store finished ornaments wrapped in tissue paper to prevent scratches.
