Ingredients
Piñata Base Materials
- 1 large Large balloon For the shape of the piñata
- 1 pack Newspaper strips For the papier-mâché layers

- 1 pack Green tissue paper For the rind decoration
- 1 pack Pink tissue paper For the main body decoration

Instructions
Preparation
- Prepare the papier-mâché paste by mixing 1 part flour with 2 parts water in a bowl until smooth. Ensure there are no lumps.
- Inflate the large balloon to your desired piñata size.
Creating the Base
- Dip newspaper strips into the paste, remove excess, and layer them on the balloon, covering it completely while leaving a small opening at the top for filling.
Drying
- Allow the piñata to dry completely for about 24 hours.
- Once dry, carefully pop the balloon and remove it.
Decorating
- Cover the dried surface with pink tissue paper.
- Cut green tissue paper into strips and glue them around the edge to create the rind.
- Add details like seeds using black construction paper or stickers.
Filling the Piñata
- Insert candy through the top opening and seal it using leftover tissue paper and glue.
Hanging
- Attach a string to the top for easy hanging.
- Choose a suitable height and location for optimum fun.
Notes
Customize colors to match your party theme. Consider using cardboard for a sturdier base instead of a balloon. You can also fill the piñata with small toys or unique treats for extra surprises.
