Slime Base

  • 1 cup White school glue Liquid glue is necessary for the correct consistency.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda Helps thicken the slime.
  • 2-3 tablespoons Contact lens solution Adjust amount to achieve desired thickness.

Coloring and Fragrance

  • As needed Green food coloring To create vibrant green slime.
  • As needed Pink food coloring For a watermelon pink color.
  • As needed drops Watermelon fragrance oil Optional for scented slime.

  • 1 Mixing bowl For combining slime ingredients.
  • 1 Spoon or whisk To mix ingredients thoroughly.

Instructions
 

Preparation of Slime Base

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the white school glue and baking soda. Stir well until fully blended.

Coloring the Slime

  • Divide the mixture into two separate bowls.
  • In one bowl, add a few drops of pink food coloring and mix until you reach your desired color.
  • In the second bowl, add green food coloring. Blend it thoroughly to create a vibrant green.

Adding Fragrance (Optional)

  • If you want a scented slime, add a few drops of watermelon fragrance oil to the pink slime and mix.

Activating the Slime

  • Slowly add contact lens solution to each bowl, starting with a tablespoon at a time. Stir until the mixture starts to pull away from the sides and becomes pliable.
  • Keep mixing until it forms a cohesive slime.

Combining the Colors

  • Take small portions of pink slime and green slime and gently knead them together to create a marbled watermelon effect.
  • Feel the softness and stretching as you combine the colors!

Storing Your Slime

  • Place your slime in an airtight container to keep it fresh and squishy.

Notes

Experiment with colors and textures! Add foam beads for crunchiness or small plastic watermelon slices for fun.
