Preparation

  • Gather all your materials in a cozy spot where you feel relaxed.
  • Decide on the arrangement of your damaged jewelry pieces, considering balancing colors and shapes.
  • Cut a length of your string or fishing line, around three to four feet long.
  • Tie one end of the string to your metal or wooden ring.

Assembly

  • Add your jewelry pieces, threading them onto the string and knotting them to keep them in place if desired.
  • Allow space between each piece for movement and sound.
  • Continue adding pieces until you feel satisfied with the arrangement.
  • Once complete, tie off the end securely and trim any excess string.

  • Find a suitable location to hang your wind chimes.

Notes

Care for your wind chimes by bringing them in during severe weather and wiping off dust with a soft cloth. If pieces loosen, re-secure them with fresh string.
