Preparation
- Prepare your workspace: Set up a clean, flat surface with all your materials at hand. Lay down newspaper or an old cloth to catch any spills.
- Create your design: Use washable markers to color your coffee filters. Splash colors, add patterns, or leave some sections blank.
- Wet the filters: Carefully dip or spray the colored filters in water to allow the colors to spread.
- Shape the flowers: Once the filters are dry, use scissors to cut them into flower shapes (petals) with a round shape and scalloped edges.
- Assemble the flowers: Gather the flower-shaped filters, stack them together, then insert a pipe cleaner or floral wire through the center and twist to hold.
- Display your masterpiece: Place your beautiful rainbow flowers in a vase or give them as gifts.
Notes
