Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 2 socks white socks (different sizes for head and body) Use one larger sock and one smaller sock.
  • 1 cup uncooked rice or polyfill stuffing Fill the socks with about 2/3 full.
  • as needed rubber bands or string To secure the socks together.
  • as needed buttons or beads For the eyes and decorations.
  • as needed fabric scraps For scarf and hat.
  • 1 permanent markers For drawing facial features.
  • 1 pair scissors For cutting fabric scraps.
  • 1 hot glue gun Optional for securing some decorations.

Instructions
 

Shape the Body

  • Start with the larger sock: Fill it with uncooked rice or polyfill about 2/3 full. This will be the body of your snowman.
  • Secure the open end with a rubber band or string.

Create the Head

  • Use the smaller sock: Fill it similarly with rice or polyfill until it’s plump.
  • Tie off this sock just like you did with the body.

Assemble the Snowman

  • Attach the head to the body: Gently press it down on the body and secure with additional rubber bands if needed.

Add Features

  • Create eyes and buttons: Glue buttons or beads onto the snowman for eyes and decoration.
  • Draw a smile using a permanent marker to add a cheerful mouth.

Accessorize

  • Make a scarf: Cut a strip from the fabric scraps and wrap it around the neck.
  • Add a hat: Use another fabric scrap for a cute beanie or top hat.

Final Touches

  • Check stability: Make sure all decorations are secure.
  • Place your snowman in a cozy spot to display your new creation.
